LAGOS ( 2008-09-16 19:08:52 ) :Anglo-Dutch oil giant Royal Dutch Shell Tuesday confirmed an overnight attack on one its pipelines in southern Nigeria.
"We can confirm that a section of the Greater Port Harcourt Swamp Line at Bakana, Rivers State, was attacked last night (September 15)," Shell spokesman Precious Okolobo told AFP, without giving any further details.
